What an incredible sight! Thanks, Chuck On Thursday, July 17, 2014 9:48 AM, Chuck Hards <chuck.hards@gmail.com> wrote: Nope, I was just outside with my morning coffee, looking at the sky for a few minutes, as I do every clear morning. No camera, not even my cell-phone with me. Five minute peek and a bit of fresh air, then back to work. Sometimes I get lucky and see something special, like this morning. Close to 5:00 AM, I watched what had to be the ISS (haven't looked it up) pass nearly overhead. It was one of the brightest sightings I've ever seen, easily mag. -4. Just as it was passing the Pleiades, a bright meteor streaked by just under Perseus, headed north. The train was easily 20 degrees long.
Beautiful morning sights!
