I was at Wasatch State Park over the weekend and spent a while chatting with one of the volunteers there. He said they don't have an astronomy program either. That might be a good place to do something sometime. When it's not freezing.

Here is the long story made short. I took my family over to the Valley Fair Mall to their new courtyard with large tree etc. last night. The light pollution reminds me a lot of observing from a Harmons parking lot but for Lunar, Jupiter and some doubles it should be a simply outstanding place to set up. I went to the Management office today and met the VP of the company that runs the mall now and he was simply "all in". It would be early so even a work night should work during the holidays sometime.
