Jorge, Don't give up hope. I am hoping for some clearing in the later evening. I've looked at several maps and forecasts and what I found was this: Wolf Creek 30% to 40% thunderstorms through 12:00a.m. Then dropping down to 10% chance after 12:00a.m. Lakeside: 20% of thunderstorms til 10:00pm and then dropping down to a 10% chance the rest of the evening. Pit n Pole: Much like Lakeside but the thunderstorms run at 20% til 12:00a.m. and 10% after that. The forecast models show a Pacific front coming through Saturday night and early Sunday morning with much improved skies at Wolf Creek and/or Pit n Pole. Lakeside shows some clouds and the front going right through there. Then again, this is the weather so who knows. This I know. If it looks like thunderstorms after my near miss at Lakeside earlier this summer, I'm not apt to set up the truss scopes unless the threat is gone. If someone really wants to know what I am doing (I don't think I will until around 5:00p.m. tomorrow) on either Friday or Saturday you can call me at eight zero one, six three four, six zero seven six. If I don't answer leave me a message. On Thu, Aug 25, 2011 at 7:11 PM, Jorge Gutierrez <gotfoxx@hotmail.com>wrote:
Ok, I give up, if I get super excited about heading out, bad weather happens, if I act like I don’t care, it does the same, im dying to take a pic of that new supernova in m101, that and the pleiades, im also in dire need to get chewed by mosquitoes and smell like deet, oh and don’t forget the allergies, and im being honest about all that. -Jorge G
