Ya know, this is the only list I know where I feel like everyone is family. Not just close friends but FAMILY. I love the off-topic stuff. It teaches me more about you folks and "who" is doing the observing. Congrats to you and your wife C.H.. Tough to do. My Dad died of Oat-Cell cancer of the lung when he was 62 but my Mom who is 80 quit about 15 years ago and is still going strong. I know too that your daughter will reap many benefits from your decisions. Heal up that broken hand too my man. Tnx from ur friend de n7zi Gary "Why buy something for ten bucks when you can make it for a hundred.", J.R. -----Original Message----- From: utah-astronomy-bounces+n7zi=comcast.net@mailman.xmission.com [mailto:utah-astronomy-bounces+n7zi=comcast.net@mailman.xmission.com]On Behalf Of Chuck Hards Sent: Friday, December 05, 2003 3:54 PM To: Utah-Astro Subject: [Utah-astronomy] Off-topic: Tobacco cessation Today marks 31 days since my wife and I quit smoking. I know several list members who smoke and let me just say that if I can give it up, you all can too. The first few days were terrible but it gets easier every day. I don't mean to preach, good grief I had my fill of it myself. What I want to do is encourage you to keep trying, never give up. Not even a broken hand and reconstructive surgery broke my resolve, this time it's for keeps. THANK YOU to the list friends who knew what I was attempting, and going through, and encouraged me to stick with it. It helped A LOT! Back to astronomy.
