Interesting that you mention that. I took my recently kaput HP Inkjet printer into a local Radio Shack (I think that's the place to call Chuck), only to be told it would cost me $120 just to send it off to have it looked at, since they didn't carry any of the service parts locally! Holy crap, you guys can drop that printer out of an airplane if you like too. I ended up with a new laser printer at Sams Club the next day for a whopping $129 (Samsung, works great). No more bloody expen$ive ink cartriges to refill ($50 gets you 3000 pages in this laser, more if you turn on the "toner saver" feature)... Anyhow, good luck with your PC Chuck, -Rich --- Chuck Hards <chuckhards@yahoo.com> wrote:
Sorry about this off-topic post...does anyone have info on an authorized HP service center in the SL area?
I called the HP phone number, the fellow on the other end gave me another number, which was a recording stating that their service database was "not currently available".
If I can't find a service center in the SL area, then Kim and Patrick will have something besides bowling balls to drop.
Thanks
C.
