Some folks did follow-up work last night using the 2.3 meter Bok
telescope at Kitt Peak and confirmed it to be a type Ib near maximum light. Details here:

And it "only" took 252 nights of searching since my first SN to find this
one, which is half the 508 nights it took to find #1.
