Rich, any high cirrus at all just kills this comet visually. Last night truly was the best I've seen it. Even though it's fading in magnitude, it's making up for it by getting a little higher in the sky each night, and moving slowly northward. Thanks Tyler, this is lovely, and some good compensation for one whose been continually skunked. Of course, not paying attention, I saw the clouds building and gave up too early last night; I probably could have seen in down here -- sky was crystal clear at 9:30 when I went out for a walk. Stupid me!
