This just showed up on one of the other lists I'm on. Nice movie. http://www.lpl.arizona.edu/~kowalski/images/astro/703_20070413.mov The author, Richard Kowalski, notes: "I've posted a time lapse animation that I made Thursday into Friday night, at the CSS Schmidt (http://www.lpl.arizona.edu/css/ css_facilities.html). It starts before the sky gets dark and ends as morning twilight begins to brighten the sky. The large dome houses the Kuiper 61" telescope and the smaller dome on the right is the CSS Schmidt. There were a group of UA students using the 61" so there are more lights being turned on an off over there than usual. There is also much more air traffic than is usual, but you'll noticed that the trees are moving from the high winds, so that may explain that. It was made with a Canon 20D using a Sigma 10-20mm lens set at 10mm & f/ 4. The ISO was 3200 and the frames were dark subtracted and then run through Noise Ninja to further reduce the noise. The .mov file was created from nearly 900 frames using Quicktime Pro 7.1 and the H.264 codec. You **must** have the latest version of Quicktime to be able to view it." pw
