I am planning to be out with my 10" Dob as well. I have done this many times in the past. I think it is a great way to do a little outreach to the neighborhood. Having your neighbors know that you are into astronomy helps when you are trying to see something neat and need to go ask them to turn off their lights for a little while. This year the weather looks good so it is time for a little neighborhood outreach and come views of the waxing crescent moon on the terminator and Jupiter if it is up high enough. Anyone else going to do this? Besides the 10 inch dob I'll have a late 1960's Tasco Spotting Scope that zooms that is an excellent lunar observing scope. Anyway, just curious. -- Jay Eads _______________________________________________ Utah-Astronomy mailing list Utah-Astronomy@mailman.xmission.com http://mailman.xmission.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/utah-astronomy Visit the Photo Gallery: http://www.slas.us/gallery2/main.php
