My imagination is definitely running amok with that vision! The giant slowly eases himself down on the back of the trapped T-Rex, his fur wrapped legs pressing gingerly to T's body. He wraps the ends of the multi-vined rope around his three-fingered (with opposable thumb) hand several times. After settling himself firmly, he nods to the gate keeper. As the wooden gate opens into the arena giant's legs press hard into T's side. T rears up with an eardrum shattering bellow and bolts for open space. Then whips its head around to bite the knee cap of the giant on its back. Not so much to get him off, T is hungry. Giant pulls hard on the opposing vines wrapped around T's head and just short of the knee cap T's head is yanked in the opposite direction. Losing his balance T falls forward its short fore-arms, neck and head grinding into the hard packed dirt, throwing the once seated giant forward over T's head. Both struggle to their feet. Now its a race to the 75-foot high adobe brick wall lining the arena. Does T get lunch? Stay tuned folks. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Joel Stucki" <joel.stucki@gmail.com> To: "Utah Astronomy" <utah-astronomy@mailman.xmission.com> Cc: "Utah Astronomy" <utah-astronomy@mailman.xmission.com> Sent: Friday, June 12, 2015 12:50:00 PM Subject: Re: [Utah-astronomy] What happened to the dinosaurs? Yes but back in those days great sport was made when the Giants (Genesis 6:4 and a bunch of other places in the Hebrew Bible) used to hold rodeos with T-Rex riding contests. Perhaps it is because "Jurassic World" is opening up today, but it seems to me a very important point has been missed. According to the website some dinosaurs were on the Ark. They are the dragons of various legends in the middle ages and what not and some were on the Ark but didn't survive in the changed world after the flood (fossils). But let's go back to the beginning at least to when the Ark was built. Assuming (we all know what the syllables mean :)) dinosaurs were on the Ark, doesn't that mean that man and dinosaur co-existed? Imagination runs amok with the thought of T-Rex and veloptor (sp) raptor and other carnivores co-existing with man. Imagination could easily turn into a headache. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Erik Hansen" <zaurak@digis.net> To: "Utah Astronomy" <utah-astronomy@mailman.xmission.com> Sent: Friday, June 12, 2015 10:36:34 AM Subject: Re: [Utah-astronomy] What happened to the dinosaurs? Also, the avian dinosaurs (birds) still exist. Not all dinosaurs went extinct. Still, I don’t think that would make a creationist feel any better.

lol, it was a flood, think all the aquatics would have survived, doubt Noah built aquariums. As to why we don't see them today, the site had an answer- the world changed after the flood and those life forms used to the environment before were not able to survive after. That's why we're finding fossils. Hmmm, but what about the whales - the headache is coming back.

So what happened to all the aquatic dinosaurs?
