Jawhol! (with a Dutch twist.) That is funny, Patrick, because my first impression was that heavy armor had chewed up the road. Also noticed, for the first time (may have been there for a long time) a surveillance blimp on a tether, floating over the Grassy Mountains, to the West of the observing site. I spent US Army time in Germany in the mid-70's, and while there, a fully loaded Panzer was discovered in a tunnel under a Kaserne (formerly a German military post) near the town of Kaiserslautern. The machine was in remarkably good shape, abandoned as the Germans headed West to meet up with the Americans instead of goint East to meet a worse fate with the Russians. -Van Hi Erwin, Considering where that road leads one can only wonder what kind of heavy vehicles are being driven out there. But with the road in that sort of shape maybe next time you go out there you should drive one of your namesake's vehicles: A Panzer. :) patrick
