Hi All, Is anyone thinking about an astronomy expedition Friday night? I checked a couple of spots on the NWS web site (Castle Dale and Kanab) and both say it should be "mostly clear." Kanab will be a roasting 24 degrees, while Castle Dale's Friday night low is forecast at 9. Assuming our hideously expensive vehicle repairs are done by then, it might be fun. Also, if anyone cares, I was hasty in endorsing some hunters' coveralls I bought from K-Mart. It turned out that the "large" size, which really was about seven feet long, was far too small for me. It's not that I'm seven-three or anything. But the pants were really long while the torso was too short to force my way into. I had expected to rely on them when I went to Middle Sink, Cache County, on a story about the excessively cold temps that show up there sometimes and break records, but I just could not get them on. Instead, I had to rely on the clothing I was planning to wear beneath the coveralls. Fortunately, the inversion broke up and by the time we got there Middle Sink was only minus-10, not the minus 48 or minus 52 that was invisioned, and I was all right. I had no trouble returning the coveralls to K-Mart. But I don't recommend them because I believe the "large" is too small for a person of ordinary size, and they were out of "extra-large." -- Joe
