Kurt, See http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834215094. This netbook was $204 last week. It is hard to find netbooks with Windows XP on them. Windows XP is much more compatible with many of the astronomy hardware drivers - but even so with the latest XP SP3 updates you need to install many drivers in safe mode and leave the hardware plugged in after rebooting from safe mode until it loads in normal windows. This is true of the Starlight Xpress cameras and the Microtouch focusers. Then everything works fine. If the hardware was already installed before the SP3 update it remains working fine - no reinstall needed. If so, I am interested in picking up a used netbook with at least two USB 2.0 ports for use as a dedicated small astro imaging computer in the $125-$150 price port range. I decided I don't want to haul around my main writing-accounting laptop to remote sites for astro imaging.
