I am curious to know what site is better at predicting the magnitude? I show on the Heavens Above website that it is predicted at a Mag. of -1.1.
It may only be that Heavens Above has gotten around to updating their reflectance factor based on the recent deployment of large solar panels on the ISS. The ISS has gotten a lot brighter than it used to be. It will get even brighter when the Discovery docks again with the ISS after the launch scheduled for later this month on Oct. 23rd. - Kurt Space news.com article on ISS brightness http://www.space.com/spacewatch/060915_iss_watch.html Shuttle mainpage for next launch http://www.nasa.gov/mission_pages/shuttle/main/index.html _______________________________________________ Sent via CSolutions - http://www.csolutions.net
