County Paramedics went to injectable vials with TB Syringes. A doctor can prescribe it that way. http://time.com/money/4632964/cvs-epipen-alternative-adrenaclick/ Sent from my iPad

Hey Chuck,
What an ordeal you've had. So good to hear you're on the mend.
We'd appreciate if you'd share anything you've learned about how to save money for the EpiPen.
We have a 3 year old granddaughter with severe food allergies. Wherever she goes, an EpiPen is close by. I'm amazed you only paid $10 for two.
I find it ridiculous that our daughter's young family has to pay so much out of pocket for this life-saving serum. It's not covered by their insurance yet. Parents nationwide are pushing for that to change.
Our granddaughter has had to have it administered twice because foods that had previously been safe suddenly caused a severe reaction. The serum allowed time for an ambulance to arrive and hurriedly whisk her off to the ER.
Watching her little one swell up, rashes spread and have increasing difficulty breathing is one of my daughters worst moments ever.
