Hi Rich, I'm going to write a blog about Saturn's edge-on rings, but I'm a little confused. I thought they were at their "edgiest" late last year -- but I also heard they were going to be this year. Can you clarify for me? And can you send me a comment about the rings? I took a view of them early yesterday morning from the Millard County desert. The air was churning too much for a great view, but I got them and four moons lined up. I managed to swing the scope up and get a second or two of focus on that very bright pass, able to make out the twin rectangular solar arrays in that brief moment @ 75x; pretty neat! _______________________________________________ Utah-Astronomy mailing list Utah-Astronomy@mailman.xmission.com http://mailman.xmission.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/utah-astronomy Visit the Photo Gallery: http://www.slas.us/gallery2/main.php Visit the Wiki: http://www.utahastronomy.com
