The blue haze or blue clearing is a real effect. You can see it visually. Some people try to filter or process it out but it is real. It was taken from my SLC backyard last night. I am writing a story, and want to use the photo in it. Can anyone please give me an explanation for the lopsidedness and the blue crescent at the bottom? I notice that Don's recent Mars images have the same effect, so I don't think it's a telescope error. Thanks very much, Joe _______________________________________________ Utah-Astronomy mailing list Utah-Astronomy@mailman.xmission.com http://mailman.xmission.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/utah-astronomy Visit the Photo Gallery: http://www.utahastronomy.com
