I wonder if Mrs. Ellingson might show up? You know, old times' sake... I am not able to find a particular public site as far as maps go so I am just going to take the road out by the Brigham city Airport and follow it out Until I find it. I know that is state rd 83 I am not sure if it is anything formal or anything more than people just parking along the side of the road.

I've always been rather fond of rockets and high explosives, so if I can't get close enough to hear and especially feel the rocket motor, I'm not interested. I didn't see any link to a map of sorts. Does anyone have first hand experience from this public viewing area?
For some reason I'm reminded of a homemade rocket that my friend and I built when we were teenagers. (You know, the "innocent" years.) It was made entirely of homemade components: a cardboard BB tube, powdered sparklers for fuel and a dime with a hole punched in it for the nozzle. (You know, I wonder if scaling the idea up to a concrete form tube would work. I'm sure club members have spare Sonotubes lying around...) The thing didn't have enough thrust to really take off. It gained about 20 feet in altitude then sort of floated over the fence and landed next door in Mrs. Ellingson's garden where it started a fire.
Mrs. Ellingson never did like me.
