Anyone who has purchased a JMI product has unknowingly, perhaps, advanced- financed- the ID/creationist agenda
I do hope you were joking in this Chuck, because I intend to make fun of you. You have blasted straight through hypocrisy and landed in the middle of absurdity. This is a hobby and people are supposed to have fun at it for crying out loud. The last thing we need is Âpolitically correct telescope hardware. JMI is a successful business in spite of the religious beliefs of the owner, not because of them. In America everyone is welcome to put up their own line of focusers, telescopes, and binoculars and see just how well you can do in those markets, That includes you Chuck, if you think you can make a business succeed by promoting political correctness. ItÂs called freedom; itÂs what America is all about. Just to keep this on the light side, I have a few telescopic fatwa of my own to issue. 1. Any one who drives over telescope truss tubes because heÂs too busy arguing politics should perform the following penance. Make a pilgrimage to London and ask for forgiveness from original Newtonian telescope made by the hand of Isaac himself. 2. Any one who has a cooling fan that blows air across the face of telescope primary mirror should be forced the look through the eyepiece while standing on his head. 3. The LX200 is banned because at the end of the last Star Wars movie Darth Vader had his arms and legs cut off by Obi wan. He now walks around fully prosthetic and sounds like a coffee grinder. So turn away form the dark side Guy. Clear Skies DT Lapsed catholic. PS: I was surprised to find that Microsoft Word knows the correct spelling of Obi wan. ____________________________________________________ Start your day with Yahoo! - make it your home page http://www.yahoo.com/r/hs
