Bob: I've been watching the weather too. clouds seem to be retreating and the water in the air column is going down, but Pit n Pole is still a frost pocket. For the last three nights it's been falling into the low thirties and dewing up by midnight. That might be OK for a one hour sneek and peek on a work night but higher elevations stay warmer and dryer. I can't bring myself to spend the gas money for Pit n pole. Castle Dale looks great Let me convoy into Wedge Overlook with you this weekend. DT --- Robert Taylor <robtaylor3661@comcast.net> wrote:
The weather looks good tonight if anyone is up for some observing tonight at the Pit N Pole, I'd consider other sites as well but the desert seems pretty good tonight. We might be catching a break for the Wedge on Friday as well if anyone is interested. The forecast seems to been for some clouds early in the day then clearing out in the evening.
