Of course NASA faked the moon landings, so can you really trust the experts.
Lots of chatter about this on the Minor Planet Mailing List today.
All posters, including the pros with the big equipment, are agreeing it is an impact.

It looks exactly like the impact sites from SL-9. I spent a lot of nights observing and videotaping SL-9 impacts. It is definitely an impact.
