OAS is holding a Messier Marathon at Curlew Campground Friday and Saturday nights. The Curlew Campground is 6 miles north of Snowville. It is a nice dark location. Any astronomer is welcome to come. Not all of us will be doing the marathon. Let us know if you are coming so we can watch for you. SLAS is holding a Messier Marathon at SPOC this Friday and Saturday. It's not being published as a public event since it's a New Moon weekend. Messier Marathons are typically frantic activity after sunset and again nearing sunrise, with a lot of waiting for objects to rise in-between. So have a secondary list handy. Dress warm! _______________________________________________ Utah-Astronomy mailing list http://mailman.xmission.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/utah-astronomy Send messages to the list to Utah-Astronomy@mailman.xmission.com The Utah-Astronomy mailing list is not affiliated with any astronomy club.
