Thanks for the heads up. I just got home and missed just the first few minutes of it.
I thought it was cool that they launched without a good set of software to guide the rover exploration and they had time to fine tune it and replace it before it was needed.
The whole preparation, launch, landing, exploration endeavor is so large when compared with everyday human experience that no matter how many times you whiteness it, it is really exciting.

10 pm MST.
NASA TV's web site says nothing about those times and mentions coverage only at
8:30 and midnight.
