Mike, 90° at the equator, The polar axis needs to be parallel to the earths axis and rotate equal rate but opposite direction. 0° at the pole I think the Grim ended up at F/12. That would make it about 384 inches or 9750 mm or 9.75 meters Siegfried On 2009-09-08 11:45, M Wilson wrote:

 If I set my telescope up with a wedge at the equator, how much of an angle would I set the wedge at - 0-degrees or 90-degrees?
 Conversely, at what angle would the wedge be set at if I were at the north pole?  Also, does anyone know the focal length of the Grim Scope?
