Gary, how did you know about the lecture? Can you get on a list for notifications of these types of events? I am on the science lecture series list, but they are not always about astronomy. Still, they are worth attending. The Farraday lecture is coming up, totally worth attending. Especially for young people. You do need to get tickets to that because it is usually "sold out." It's free, but there are a finite number of seats. If you haven't attended a Farraday lecture, please do so. They are terrific. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Gary Vardon" <gvardon@webtv.net> To: "Utah Astronomy" <utah-astronomy@mailman.xmission.com> Sent: Monday, November 21, 2011 12:12:54 AM Subject: [Utah-astronomy] globular clusters I attended a lecture by a U of Utah professor about globular clusters. The prof noted that there may well be interaction of the stars in a globular cluster causing them to change their chemistry and physical properties.
