Don, The ME is impressive. I ran PemPro to determine the raw periodic error: it came out as less than +/- 1 arcsecond. That is before applying PEC. Unbelievable! I don't know if PEC is even needed. On the last clear night I took several 10-minute unguided images and the stars in the middle of the frame are tiny round dots. I am also learning about "The Sky X" and its features. I especially like the automatic sky mapping routine. I can start it and sit back and watch. It selects random targets throughout the sky, slews to the target, takes a picture, precisely plate solves its position, and moves on. After the routine is complete, every object is dead center of the crosshairs. It is not a big deal with the Borg 45ED at 325mm, but it will be nice with the longer focal length. I love the mount! Thanks Tyler. Most of what I know about imaging I learned from you. I hope the new astrograph meets all of your expectations. Have you had a chance to put the ME "through its paces"? Is it as good as advertised?

Thanks a lot Don.
It has been fun messing around with a tiny scope, but I am ready to get the new astrograph up and running. I haven't imaged much since Kanab, and I haven't even finished processing images from that trip yet. Life has been hectic, especially with the passing of my dad and all the related issues of getting my mom situated. I hope all is well with you. Cheers, Tyler
PS - Congrats on all the great images recently. Your work is excellent.
