Rich, Joe, et al; I've been out of town this week end; talk about light pollution- San Diego... At any rate, I've been a big fan of the quarry for the past several years. It's a really good 'cheap' site; only half hour from the east side of Salt Lake. As long as you don't look too far west, you'll do okay with respect to light pollution. Biggest problem is deer and elk on the ride home. The die-hard optimists among us even got rained on. I finally packed it up after midnight, as the total overcast would not go away. Imagine my disgust to wake up to cloudless blue skies today. Sigh. But the site seems pretty good; some small amount of light pollution in the West, but not bad; overall a great site for being less than an hour from SLC (it's about an hour from my house in Lindon in Utah County having to drive thru Heber). I'll definitely try it again. -Rich --------------------------------- Do you Yahoo!? Free online calendar with sync to Outlook(TM).
