After putting a great deal of personal effort in to the promotion of SLAS, I sincerely hope it is no fluke. That said, we did have a few things stack up all at once that boosted us a little higher. We can discuss the details at the next board meeting, if anyone is interested. This isn't a SLAS business mailing list. I'll stop here and simply say: There has never been a better time to consider outreach astronomy as a fun and engaging activity. You can do this if you are part of SLAS or not. It can be very rewarding. -Ryan
