I have a pair of Galileo 15x70, but went to look at the Barskas. I did notice a slight difference, but can't account for it. My Galileos hold the focus very well and focus doesn't change when you push in on the eyepiece assembly. The Barskas allowed the focus to shift about every time I brought my eyes to them or pointed them vertically, and the eyepiece assembly would move when subject to a little thumb pressure. Perhaps there is an adjustment that can correct this. When I encountered this problem on my 10x60s, I fashioned a tap from sheet metal to act as a friction brake on the focus wheel.
