Thanks, Patrick, but I'm just a lieutenant around here, guys like you are the generals! I feel bad about Mr. Fisher leaving the list, although he did state that it was at club meetings where he ran into objectionable attitudes, so I hate to see the list take unwarranted criticism. A couple of us made some remarks to the effect that *Astronomy* magazine lacked depth; perhaps we insulted his favorite publication. (And who in heck told him that professionals don't use CCD's? Was he at an Ansel Adams exhibit, or an astronomy club meeting?) That said, it is after all impossible to please everyone, all the time. I think our successes as a group of individuals with common interests, more than outweighs any areas of neglect. Especially when you realize we do it for love, not riches.
