Somebody's off their meds... ;) Chuck, The comment to Patrick regarding CNN, or as the (snide alert) 'red states' refers to it, the Clinton News Network, was not a "snide" political comment. It was a tounge in cheek reply back to Patrick after his response regarding the "accuracy" of the FOX News channel and their story about the upcoming launch of the 'Deep Impact' spacecraft which may or may not take place as originally scheduled on December 30th. Further, the 'post election therapy' comment was a carry over from our "jovial and spirited though friendly" table discussion at our last Advanced Training session. So as you can see, none of this had anything to do with a "Meteor", or, Rush Limbaugh for that matter... If you're going to take this stuff serious and personal, please try to be a little more accurate with your replies. Ooops, now that may have been a little snide. Sorry. ;) Quoting Chuck Hards <chuckhards@yahoo.com>:
Can we please leave the snide political comments off the astronomy list? The guys' been out of office for four years, give it a rest already. Find a new liberal to insult, better yet just let it go. As to percieved news bias, if you don't like what you see, change the bloody channel or just turn it off completely.
Jeez, a news story about a meteorite, and we get Rush Limbaugh.
I'm sure the very accurate news folks over at the Clinton News Network would have said something, if they hadn't been so busy seeking post election therapy...
