Hi Joe, To be honest I'm not sure why some work and some don't. You should have seen the mosaic I tried to put together of the Horsehead. So many ugly seams it reminded me of Frankenstein. :) For a while I thought it might have had to do with placement in the sky (ie. the higher in the sky the better) but this morning's M-33 was made when the target was only about half way up the sky. One thing that does seem to help is to assemble the pieces at about 150%. If the alignment is good at 150 it looks even better at 100%. patrick
