Ditto on Patrick's contributions to the club !!!!! Most clubs have the opposite probelm - no one will take on these kinds of jobs. Thank goodness for Patrick and his very willing heart and giving !!!Jim "S. Biesele" <susan@biesele.net> wrote:Hi Patrick. Susan Biesele here. I would love to receive your "electronic rag" --- I think you send it to Bill, but it doesn't make it to my email corner of the world. I haven't seen you at a meeting for a while - I hope everything is well with you and you are enjoying your retirement! BTW - I can't imagine why The Board wouldn't want you to do PR for the club. I can't think of a better promoter or ambassador for the field of Astronomy. When I think of the club - I actually think of you. Anyway - thanks for your consideration. Bill and I continue to go to meetings and even make some of the outings. We hope to do more this summer as we are both free as the birds. Since Patrick does a great job on the regular newsletter...
Just a correction here. I put out my little electronic rag called News which should not be confused with the SLAS newsletter, Nova.
However, if it's ok with the SLAS board (they declined my earlier offer to do PR for the club) I'd be happy to include meeting topics in News.
Cheers!
Patrick
