Alcohol consumption does take place up the canyon. I heard a comment that the parking lot was very "rutted" out and perhaps a better graded parking lot might have been better.
I really enjoyed the location. I hope there will be future star parties
there. The scenery is always breathtaking at Alta and it's not too far away. I enjoyed meeting many of you and looking through your scopes. My daughter and I had a good time. Thank you. I had one question about the party. I could not tell if some of the folks with the Save Our Canyons group were a little sloshed or maybe the stars were really THAT amazing. Did anybody else get that vibe? Maybe the people that I am referring to were not even associated with Save Our Canyons at all. I do not know. I mean know offense.
