Michael, You ought to also consider Bryce Canyon, even if you don't attend the Astronomy Festival (July 7-10). Better horizons at the view points and while Kodachrome is plus 100 degrees during the day Bryce is in the 80's. You can usually get tent camping at Sunset Campground without a problem since most people take motor homes. So rather than get everything dewed over, I was satisfied with my catch and went to bed. So soon, I want to go to Kodachrome. Anyone ever go there observing? It should be extremely dark, but I'm curious about horizons. The horizons at Perception were not so good. I'd really like Scorpius all the way up, and a shot at some stuff in Centaurus, if I'm going to S. Utah. Does Kodachrome have a good view to the S?
