There is no path of totality. The sun will always show around the moon. What possible event could SLAS be planning for the annular eclipse? Isn't SLC outside the path of totality?  " Ohhh, look through the hydrogen alpha filter, it almost blocks the sun" ;-) (when the path of totality is really in its own back yard????)
