I grew up in Moab. I don’t know the guy. One of the more recent (20 to 30 years ago or less) imports. My friends just say, “Hey, bring your scope to the next party.” No need to pay and if you pour me a drink while I’m setting up I can almost be tolerable company. My Italian (or Latin) is sketchy at best, so the Galileo impersonations are kept to a minimum. Believe me, he’s much harder to play than Elvis. Looks like for a few extra bucks, you can get a Galileo impersonator.
I wonder if that's the original, thin Galileo or the later years portly Galileo?

Unfortunately this individual's website can be found if you search "Moab astronomy clubs". I found it listed on http://www.astronomyclubs.com/state/Utah and http://users.wirelessbeehive.com/~paw/UTAHCLUBS.HTML.
