I'm a mere member, not a board guy, but that sounds like a great idea to me. I would be tempted to set my gear up at SPOC and take some photos if I could go inside and warm up. But power becomes a limitation with extras like dew heaters and a heater pad for the mount. It would helpful to be able to use the center control room of SPOC and its "Henchie holes" for such winter observing.
