Never heard of the film "The Wicker Man"? It's a 1973 cult classic, also remade in 2006 with Nicolas Cage. See: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Wicker_Man_%281973_film%29. Beware!! The following is even more OT: Some of you know that I used to live on West Capitol Hill, a.k.a. The Marmalade District. Really strange things often occurred there and even stranger people lived there. Automatic gunfire in the middle of the night, drive-by shootings (once a bullet came through my living room window), prostitutes and drug dealers were all common. There was a small apartment building up the street from my house on Apricot Avenue where a number of female same-sex couples lived. Every year on Halloween they burned their own life-size wicker man in the middle of the street. I never learned the significance of that, although I have my theories. Now don't anyone get excited and accuse me of being homophobic or otherwise intolerant. It was simply...interesting, that's all. I'm making no other judgments about those women.
