The temperatures are nice for sitting out in the driveway, but the timeframe for getting a decent image sucks. It doesn’t get dark enough to image until around 22:00. This one was taken about 02:00 this morning. I fell asleep in the “observatory" chair and when Nebulosity informed me the image was complete I just about had a heart attack. I’m going to try to get M27 (Dumbbell Nebula) tonight/tomorrow morning. Is a generic narrowband nebula filter the best to use to image this object or should I use an O-III filter? That’s all I have for nebula filters. https://www.flickr.com/photos/78046474@N06/14173213580/ Dave _______________________________________________ Utah-Astronomy mailing list http://mailman.xmission.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/utah-astronomy Send messages to the list to Utah-Astronomy@mailman.xmission.com The Utah-Astronomy mailing list is not affiliated with any astronomy club.
