Oops, heh. This is the annual meeting for the American Physical Society. They call it the Four Corners meeting. Here is the web page: http://www.physics.utah.edu/~4c2002/ Looking at the invited speakers and the schedule it seems it will be pretty exciting. I also followed the links from there to the APS homepage and looked at the latest copy of the program. Weather seems like it might be a bit damp for stargazing Friday night, but otherwise it will still be fun. Registration with a Student ID was free to a certain date; ten dollars at the door.
