From what am hearing you really need to wait until it is closer to the Sun, it could surprise. Predictions are flawed both ways.
It's not surprising that ISON is not living up to expectations. What is
surprising is that it is failing so spect act ularly . Now it is being suggested it isn't even going to be naked eye. ISON is supposed to be a first timer, and they usually perform better (i.e, more tail, more coma, etc). The studies suggest it is much more dust than ice. Do astronomers need to re-evaluate the comet models?  On the other hand, the predicted meteor shower in January (as the earth passes through the debris field of Coment ISON might be worth seeing!!! _______________________________________________ Utah-Astronomy mailing list http://mailman.xmission.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/utah-astronomy
