Thanks for the tip, Dale. My May S&T has been sitting there for a week, unread, your post reminded me that I needed to open it up. Interesting article, although I'm having a brain cramp when thinking of how to apply the masking/layering to planetary video frame stacks. Give my brain a kick-start, please! If you are using a color video camera or using your DSLR (in video mode) you should check out the last article in the May S&T. It has some really good info about new algorithms used for debayering. This should help give you better resolution for planetary images (when starting with color video).
