It's not looking good. On the bright side, the mission lasted exactly (to the day!) 4 years, it's projected lifetime. What's sobering is, for all the extra-solar planets the mission has detected, it's search area is a very small part of the Milky Way: http://www.nasa.gov/mission_pages/kepler/multimedia/images/kepler-field-of-v...
