don't see the analogy here. If he has gotten the park service to pay him, then more power to him, let him do it without SLAS. SLAS has accepted donations for the group, not individual profit. Red Rock Astronomers should not be included in the same listings as SLAS. I would point out that SLAS has on occassion accepted "donations" for
holding star parties for various groups, so without resorting to semantic gymnastics, perhaps we live in a glass house...?
