I forgot about that date being Armistice Day/Veterans Day. I don't forget and I honor those who have served and continue to do so. The armistice was finally agreed at 5:00 AM on November 11, 1918, and the official time for it to become effective was set at 11:00 AM that same day. Does anyone know: Was the time of 11:00 simply a coincidence or was "the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month" simply an aesthetic decision?
