The comment about the 800 watt inverter leads me to ask: Is it safe and practical to operate computer peripherals (printers, CD burners, etc) from inverters? I am thinking in terms of being used in conjunction with a laptop in remote locations. But seriously, we can't just piggyback on someone else's star party. Music is strictly forbidden under the rules of Star Party Ettiquette, unless you happen to be the organizer and make it known at the outset that there will be a bunch of 40-something folks attending with their favorite CD's from the '70's.
I'll take a hard look at a calendar and see if anything suggests itself.
