Science Unwrapped continues this Friday with an even featuring national best-selling author, PHIL PLAIT. Many of you may know Phil from his popular blog at Discover Magazine, Bad Astronomy (http://blogs.discovermagazine.com/badastronomy/ ), or from his book "Death From the Skies" (http://amzn.com/0143116045). Phil will be speaking to us about all the ways the Cosmos is trying to kill us. He'll talk about dangers from space, the odds of cataclysmic events, and how life on Earth might change in the event of such a cataclysm! As always, the talk will be followed by a variety of engaging events featuring the faculty and students from the USU Departments of Geology and Physics!
