The writer is a visual astronomer: http://www.weasner.com/etx/medical/cataract_surgery.html I remember when the late Walter Scott Houston had cataract surgery, he also remarked on the difference in color perception between the treated and untreated eye. Thank God we live in times with such medical advances. BTW, coincidentally I just had very overdue eye exam last week. I hadn't had one in 5 years so it was time. My prescription hadn't changed one bit, and no disease at all was detected. I breathed a sigh of relief as I walked out of the clinic.
