Did we not recently see an article regarding a report that Mars seems to be warming at the same rate as our planet? Honestly, I don't know where I stand on the global warming issue. Being a firm believer in hard science and credible theory I can see the validity of the issue from both sides. Of course, recently it seems like politics is becoming the key promoter of the issues. Global Warming, I suspect, has joined such campaign topics as Taxes, Abortion, and Health care. Three things the government can't fix or doesn't care to fix! Personally, I think the Greenhouse effect is natural and cannot be controlled and doesn't need to be controlled. Do I think we need to significantly reduce greenhouse emissions and emissions in general, you bet but that is for far more logical reasons than global warming! If you are wondering, I consider myself a tree-hugging democrat...with a brain :) -Rich On 5/31/07, Michael Carnes <michaelcarnes@earthlink.net> wrote:
This was in response to commentary by writer Gregg Easterbrook. I heard both sides of it over NPR, and I have to agree with Kim. I thought that Sean O'Keefe wasn't qualified, and I'd had high hopes for Griffin because of his engineering background. But he sure sounds like another stooge.
No surprise there. The emperor is not wearing any clothes, and neither, apparently, are his minions. Griffin wouldn't have a job if he didn't tow the administration's line that there's no problem.
